HammerTime Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Manute Bol's 6'11 son Bol Bol does things 6'11 people SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO DO - SBNation.com The late, great Manute Bol was one of the most fascinating basketball players ever. At 7'7, skinny and springy, Bol was one of the greatest shot-blockers of all time, but every once in a while he'd decide to start launching threes. His son, Bol Bol, might be more intriguing. At just 15 years old, Bol is already 6'11 and swatting and dunking on fools accordingly. But this video shows that he's got a wide array of dribbling and shooting skills nobody his height should have. Bol is listed as a 5-star recruit and the No. 19 player in the class of 2018 by ESPN. Despite being 6'11, he's listed at only 180 pounds. [video=youtube;PWW26sb_-kU]
TAC Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Only 6'11"? I'd be doing a DNA test to see if he belongs to the mailman?
spindoc Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Only 6'11"? I'd be doing a DNA test to see if he belongs to the mailman? Karl got around but 6'11" might be out of his gene pool.
frankdracman23 Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Manute Bol was born to Madut and Okwok Bol in Turalei (or Gogrial) and raised near Gogrial. He came from a family of extraordinarily tall men and women: "My mother was 6 ft 10 in (2.08 m), my father 6 ft 8 in (2.03 m), and my sister is 6 ft 8 in (2.03 m)", he said. "And my great-grandfather was even taller—7 ft 10 in (2.39 m)."
PatriotPride Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 7'0 180lbs? Your best defense against this kid would be a drum fan. Lol
MJAlltheWay24 Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Manute got real creative with his son's name.
formerkywrestler Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Manute got real creative with his son's name.Love it. This ranks right up there with guys adding an "a" to the end of their name and giving it to their daughters.
BigVMan23 Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Very very coordinated for his height at that age, something you usually don't...heck I'd say even rarely see. With that said...if he keeps that figure and muscle tone as his natural "body style" as he ages, and it's very very possible he does if you remember how his dad was built, then I don't see him being much more that the relative "oddity" that his pops was. A better version than his dad quite possibly, but still an oddity. But at just 15, time will tell.
