Nah, this aint high school where they are sharing athletes...as long as there are no marquee games on Saturday it doesn't impact football in any way.

Agree, especially in today's college basketball environment. I'm a Kentucky basketball fan, and I love college basketball, but it's really hard for me to get excited about a meaningless matchup against Duke in November.

I'm typically more aware of UK games starting with the UL game and then into conference play. And when I say more aware, I mean how much I think about it during the day.

 

When I got home a half hour ago, I thought about all the DVR'd shows we need to catch up on. Then I remembered the Duke game is tonight.

The worst thing about football is that unless there's a good Thursday game, nothing happens six days per week. I welcome the arrival of basketball season if only so there's something on TV again.

Basketball has already started? Are you telling me I don't have to watch bad football anymore?

The way our football has collapsed the past 2 years it couldn't come early enough. However I do wish this game was in last December when both teams should be a lot better.

This time of year makes for a busy schedule. I love it!!!

 

Next week we've got Men's basketball on Tuesday, Women's basketball on Wednesday, USF/UCF football thanks giving night in Orlando, USF/UK - Ohio State/Memphis in Miami Friday, and Men's basketball Sunday afternoon the 29th.

 

It's like exercise only different.

I don't mind the early start,but hate the college games being played on Friday nights.
