ISIS Warns of Attack on Washington, D.C.

Featured Replies

ISIS is a bully. The only country/group to stand-up against them is the Kurds.

ISIS has the will to fight and die, so far the Kurds are the only ones with the same grit.

ISIS has moved its weapons inside towns next to civilians. They know the US won't bomb them there. Until someone punches them in the face they will continue terrorizing the world.

I just mentioned attacking small town American to my daughter. Until these towns are attacked its not really an issue to many.

I don't see how ISIS survives much longer. They just make too many enemies. France, Russia, Kurds, Al Qaeda, Taliban. And of coarse, they have no favour with the people they govern. They surely bust be deluded, because they have no allies.

I think that's a safe bet. They believe Allah is an ally.

While the President has been busy calling ISIS a JV Team and/or downplaying their reach, ISIS has been working hard to move terror cells into place to attack American targets.

We could nuke ISIS today (and assume we got all of them where we nuked them) and they could still attack us here in America with the terror cells I am sure they have in place.

The longer we wait to wipe them out, the more likely it is we will have some major incidents/attacks here at home.

I have never in my 57 years on earth been ashamed of an American president, but I am truly embarrassed. I recently have decided to constantly be armed. In the event that I am involved in an attack I will fight back to the best of my ability, I suggest that all American citizens do the same!

It's only a matter of time before ISIL attacks our mainland. There is no doubt in my mind on that. Whether they attack small town America or a large city I have no idea, but I was having a conversation with the wife about this over the weekend.

They did a number on Paris on Friday, which is a large city. But what happens when they attack a smaller or medium sized city that doesn't have the police resources that cities like Paris and NYC would have?

Huntington, WV for example. Decent sized college town that has several areas where large numbers of people congregate on a daily basis. With Christmas shopping season approaching, what would happen if they attacked the large shopping areas, not to mention the Marshalls football stadium, the basketball arena, the civic center etc. It would be a disaster, as the HPD would need help from every law enforcement agency in the tri state to take control of the situation.

I hate to even think that way, but that's the world we're living in right now. It's scary to even think about it and somewhat frightend my wife, as she realized its a real possibility. So this shopping season we will be doing all of our shopping together and guess what? I'll be exercising my right to bear arms.

What makes ISIS so dangerous is the cash flow. They have the money to buy about any weapon they need, or get fighters from point "A" to point "B" anywhere in the world.

This guys are a legit varsity squad, anyone who thinks different is not dealing with reality.

 Oh brother... You are more likely to fall out of bed and die than to be a victim of ISIS.

Good luck finding ammo at Walmart.

Which is why the recent airstrikes on ISIs tanker trucks and oil fields are a good start. I would honestly start there with military action.

Anonymous getting involved in this whole endeavor should be interesting.

You handle your business anyway you like, I'll try to get your back!

Obama just said ISIS is contained, maybe he means their contained in the Washington area.

They've lost considerable ground in Iraq and Syria. I think that's the context in which Mr Obama was referring.

But the real question is, is that really helping anything? The answer is, obviously not.

These actions may be Hail Marys to scare the world. They could probably terrorize the region for decades if they left the rest of the world out of it, but I agree this is the end of the beginning of ISIS.

Agreed. But groups like ISIS want to bring about WWIII. They want to start a Holy war. They want the non-Muslims to rage their hatred towards the 99.999% sane Muslims so they will see that people dislike of their religion and will join them (ISIS).

I will say that when this attack happens, and it will, sometime and somewhere, it may very well be natural born citizens.

And who is buying their oil on the black market? Assad is one who has deals with ISIS to buy oil and power from ISIS controlled facilities. We also need to demand that Turkey help shut down the black market oil and it's transfer.
