I would argue that it is not necessarily the adjustments that DeSales made that allowed them to win the past few years but instead the injuries CAL suffered with losing their QB two years ago and their TE, DE, and Safety last year.

 

Wasn't aware of the injuries the past couple of years. How are the injuries this year?

Probably was a little off in my prediction. The score of the OC Murray game has me seeing things differently. I would most Definetly rather play mayfield than OC. We don't fare well against teams with an all out passing attack.

 

Unfortunately Cardinals44, the Male vs Trinity game will suck up all of the oxygen in the room from a media perspective. I am unaware of any media outlets that will be carrying the game.

 

I'm kind of surprised that the Colts don't have their own broadcast team yet.

DeSales Dad nice post and we can agree to disagree. You should not be surprised in that prediction at all. The last time we played CAL I predicted CAL by 21 and they won by 16. I only say this because our line has not shown me much all season. We outweighted CAL on the line and got punked. Also the offense is to predictable and very, very inconsistent. Book it! I hope I am wrong, but....we will see.

You are exactly right Toothpick. CAL IS dangerous. They have big play capability. DeSales' best chance to win any game is to ground and pound, try to get a couple of scores and let the defense take over. If speed scares you more than size and depth, you should definitely fear CAL more than DeSales.

Defensive touchdowns are also part of the game.

 

Fair point. However, I'm going to roll the dice on the assumption that we don't give up two defensive TDs again. If we do, the result will be similar. If not......
