Johnson Central is #2 in 4A technically. That "Out of the Earth" run game also struggled to gain 100 yards against fellow 3A Belfry in a 41-0 loss.

 

JC was no where near the team in the Belfry game as what Lex. Cath saw. JC had a lot of players out on both sides of the ball to heal up nagging injuries. Although I dont agree that JCs run game is "out of this world", it was definitely more equipped in the Lex Cath matchup than it was against Belfry.

Scott County, Belfry, and JC are about the only three teams left that can rack up huge yards in the run game and win games without necessarily ever having to throw it.

Does LC travel with similar numbers as Boyle? Do they charter buses for fans? I am asking because the big group of buses Boyle used was really nice because it kept a lot of parking open for everyone. If they don't charter fan buses and travel really well, I would suggest getting there 40-45 minutes early to anyone planning on coming.

IMO both teams are pretty equal but Central playing at home will be the difference. Central has the speed to keep up with the LC receivers and the D-line to rush the quarterback.

The answer about the fans traveling yes I was told they reserved buses for family, friends and students.

 

As far as this game goes there are games that worry you and there are games that don't. I've stated games where I felt they were a trap game, this is definitely a statement game. In order to be state champions this team will have to go to play a quality opponent on their field and there is a focus unlike no other this week. If you can't get fired up for this one something is wrong. I've read on how people say this will happen and that will happen, but based on watching every game this season on both teams I love LexCath's chances.

Sounds like from my Knights of Columbus bro, Lex Cath will have 2 maybe 3 charter bus for parents and the usual 2 for the team and a little bus LC for the cheer.
