I think SK will win. I hope Cooper wins. Didn't know this game was at Cooper, I hope that helps the cause. The question is how do you slow down Dillon Powell? If Cooper comes up with the best possible answer to that they stand a chance for sure.

It does not handle water at all. Field was poorly installed when the school was built and you can guarantee it will be muddy on Friday!!!

2 way players can't beat SK. It may be close before the half but SK will physically wear them down.

I agree totally! SK does not have any make you miss type of players but they have plenty of straight line speed along with a very good OL.

 

Cooper also has very good OL/DL but their backs and WR make you miss.... a lot.

I believe SK would be well served to practice in the pit this week. Even hose it down with water.

The 3rd quarter that seemed to last forever wore Ryle down. SK picked a part the defense with acurate passing and a balanced attack.

I also think a muddy field helps SK more than Cooper. I think Cooper can win if they take care of the football and force a few SK turnovers. Key will be stopping SK on first and second down forcing more 3rd and longs and making SK pass. I think they also need to get a pass rush. If they sit back like they did against Conner, they might get picked apart.

Hard to get picked a part when you have 8 defending 4, if they sit back like they did against Conner. At the same time Cooper is not a blitzing and gambling type of defense, they want to make you drive the ball down the field, no big plays.

If no pass rush and 7 or 8 in coverage, the Qb will start taking off and running for big gains.

I think with Jackson at RB Cooper is also a little more straight line running unlike with TCA. I think it should be a great battle between two very good teams. Wouldn't expect anything less in the regional finals!!

Should be a great game. I'll root for whatever N Ky team comes out of here the rest of the way. I'm just glad there's certain teams sanitizing the equipment and putting it back in storage after some of the comments I've read from fans this year. Even UK1fan has been good this year.

Luke Vance his a make you miss receiver he is very exciting when he has the ball in his hands. Racke will make you miss also he is very fast. Ask Ryle about Powell he will just flatten you if your in his way. 4th qtr he had a run where he pancaked the safety.

SK has played at Boone and Conner and both fields where a mess.

It is suppose to rain Tuesday and Wednesday so the field should be a mess Friday.

Noticed that Hendrix went 4 catches for 44 yards in the first meeting. Did SK put Kincaid on him? Both are flat out talents, no question. But I give the edge to Kincaid. That kid rarely makes mistakes. He knows when to make a play on the ball, when to defend the pass or just simply make a tackle. I'll bet he is hard to beat deep too. If anyone can do it, we'll see if Hendrix can.
