I've watched every NCC game this year and see what they are capable of when they limit their penalties & turnovers.

NCCs field position was mostly due to their penalties, point blank. Without those penalties of 100+ yards, NCC would have won by 2+ tds.

NCC's field position was due to the Lloyd kicker could not get it past the 50 yard line. I agree NCC trash talking got them the penalties. This has to be a record breaking year in penalties for the Breds.

We can agree to disagree, even though I hate when people use that phrase. We were watching two different games. I was on the sidelines with 4 college coaches that night. These guys have forgot more football than you and I will ever know, all agreed that Lloyd was the better team.

The Breds still got the victory, it is a moot point.

We'll just have to agree to disagree.

One thing we can all agree on......NCC vs Lloyd does not matter for this game.

WV and Lloyd hooked up at the beginning of the season in a close one. Who saw that one? How will this one be different?

I like my JUGG'S in this one however, go back over the past 5 or 6 years and it seems like everytime Lloyd and Walton hookup it goes down to the wire. I like this a tough one for both teams and feel the one with the fewest miscues will come out on top. This is why they play the games you could look good on paper until the game is played. Good luck to both teams and will pulling for the Juggernauts of Erlanger..JD

Just trying to understand what is being debated here. The comment that sparked all this was that the Juggs played a tougher schedule and you said you disagreed. You said that the Bearcats have played one of their toughest schedules yet. Which I don't think anyone was questioning that. But Sarge are you saying Waltons strength of schedule and quality of wins are the same as Lloyd's?

Walton can't control their district schedule, they have to play those. The games they schedule!ed were all non gimmie teams whom they would be matched with a tough opponent. Schedule wise I don't see them with schedule that does not prepare them for the playoff's. That was the point and the point I thought you were making. When they played LCA, they were ranked higher than Lloyd in 2A in the state. Lloyd has some great talent this year and is a good ball club but I would be not looking past Walton at home.

So what did WV change up after the Henry County game to snap their 4 game losing streak? How did they manage to rattle off 5 straight? Was there a game philosophy change or was it just digging deep and over coming?

Schedule got a little friendlier. Lloyd is really good and they are battle tested, have played a much better schedule. I honestly can't see WV hanging in this one. I picked Lloyd to go to region state semi, sticking with it.

My point was just trying to understand people's stances. I agree there is nothing teams can do about playing weaker district teams it happens. Also agree LCA and New Richmond were quality opponents. I don't know much about Henry County but by the looks of it they were a solid team. I think Lloyd's schedule overall was tougher but by no means am I saying WV's was full of gimmes. I sure hope no one is looking past a serious oppenent, not to mention on their home field.

not to mention in the play-offs when its win -- you go on; lose -- your season is over.

Well what about this? You keep saying if NCC didn't have all of those penalties they would have won by ywo scores. If Lloyd had a kicking game and didn't have all of their penalties they would have won by at least 2 scores. My point is Lloyd had NCC on the ropes in the 4th quarter with a horrible kicking game. NCC capitalized on Lloyds mistake and late game turnovers to pull out the win. That's what a good team does. Hopefull they both make it past the second round to play it again. Lloyd should be focusing on WV and NCC should be focusing on HC.
