I'd steer clear of him if I were teams. He's awful. Even as a runner, to play QB in the league, you've gotta be able to complete the most basic pass plays and he simply doesn't have that skill.

I'm probably the truest, most dedicated 49ers fan on BGP and I'm going to make a few points...

 

- Harbaugh is a great coach. The beginning of the end was running him off.

 

- Kaepernick is a good QB in the right offense. The reason he sucks right now is that they offer no threat of the run anymore. He isn't a pocket passer.

 

- Jim Tomsula is a moron and a terrible hire. He's in way over his head.

 

- there are reasons why several veterans retired even though they still had gas in the tank and it wasn't Harbaugh

Here is a fun one... The 4 non-Harbaugh coaches hired by the Yorks have combined to go 48-88 with no playoff berths in 9 seasons (counting this one); Harbaugh went 44-19-1 with three playoff berths

Agree. So they decide to play one of the most skittish and least pocket awareness QB's of all time behind that line. The logic is strong.

Kap has more passing yards, higher passer rating, less interceptions, and similar rushing yards as Cam Newton.

 

Cam is a mid-season MVP candidate. One more example of stats being misleading.
