If Rams leave I'm pretty much team less. I was a stl cardinal fan and they left. Followed the 49ers during Montana and Young years but then the Rams came to town.

If they leave them I'm

Fantasy football only until late in the season.

All this relocation sucks in sports

Rams make the most sense. They have the land and the money.

And it would make things right again. Go ahead. Admit it.

Sure... But I'd still want the Cardinals in Arizona, or it helps me none. :lol2:

This ain't college. They'd still have to go east no matter what. Ain't nothing further west than Seattle.

In all seriousness, the commish has hinted it will happen soon and Inhabe a feeling it will be the Rams.

"Silent" Stan Kroenke, who had the good fortune of marrying into the Walmart fortune, illustrates everything that is bad about the NFL. He fields a shoddy product year after year after year, then cites "lack of community support" for seeking to move the team to L.A., even though St. Louis has a $1 billion stadium plan on the table and is far ahead of San Diego and Oakland in getting something done.

A good guess would have the Rams-Chargers playing in Stan's new stadium while Oakland stays put.

The Rams are toast in St. Louis. Same could easily happen in Cincinnati some day if the Brown heirs sell. Rumor mill now has another existing franchise (Jacksonville?) headed to London in the not-too-distant future.

For sure... But when your team is historically bad outside of their time zone, your preference is they don't leave more often than necessary.

I'm not extremely serious about this, mind you. Their travel schedule doesn't mean a ton to me.

Jacksonville is the worst fit in the NFL. That market is squeezed by Carolina, ATL, Tampa and Miami. JAX is a pretty good college football town as well. I think most of us are HS/College fans first and aren't as passionate about the NFL anyway.

If the Rams move do you allow an expansion team in STL and give them back the 'cardinal' logo? What would you call the PHX team?

He has only owned the team a few years (maybe 5) and they have been building a solid foundation the last few years with Jeff Fischer as the Head Coach. QB having season ending injuries 3 times has hurt the team but they are building a great defense and now have the best young RB in the league.

As a Life Long Rams fan I hope they move home to LA...that's where they should be.

Cardinals left for lack of fans support and now the Rams are looking to leave in part for the same reason...I'm not sure how soon the NFL gives them a 3rd shot if the Rams leave.

One certainly can make the case that the Rams "belong" in Southern California. Not arguing that. I do believe, though, that when Kroenke bought controlling interest in the team he had no intention of remaining in St. Louis, despite his ties to the region.

What will be interesting is whether St. Louis can press its case for an expansion team (like Cleveland did after the Browns moved to Baltimore), especially if the city dots all its I's and crosses all its T's in the plans being drawn up for a new riverfront stadium. Probably not.

Bill Bidwell moved Cards to AZ not because of lack of fan support for a lousy team, but because the city/county refused to build and pay for a new football-only stadium.

I don't think city/counties should be in the business of building stadiums to begin with. I don't have a problem with them helping or giving private ownership incentives...but there are too many other things cities need to spend a Billion dollars on.
