Don't think either really looked very impressive tonight. They've both looked much better in earlier games.

 

You can see what attracts interest for Morgan. Quick release. Zip on the ball. Can squeeze it into spots others cannot. Not perfect. Sometimes tries to squeeze it in when it's not there.

 

Kid never got time to set. SK D was just too good up front.

I think Racke had 216 yards passing 2 tds and 56 yards rushing 1 td. Powell had 117 yards 1 td. Luke Vance 5 catches 127 yards 1 td.

 

Racke was best on the run especially up the middle. Seems to a nice job on the read option.

I can't tell you how enjoyable it was to sit by the guy from Ryle who thought he was doing standup at the Chuckle Hut when he was yelling at the officials. Awesome.

The kid is only a Sophomore and his 6'5 265 pounds.

A couple of key plays:

 

Not going for FG to put them up 10-0, rushing to the line, high snap, 4th down stopped.

 

SK kicker (smallest kicker I've seen in a while) drills a kick off of the front line of Ryle return team and Ryle recovers. Goes up 14-7 and never looked back.

As I said in the prediction thread, the most dynamic athlete on the field was England. The fact that they moved him to the slot and he only had two touches makes no sense. If he had 25 or so carries at TB the game might have been different.

I seen they brought him in the backfield a few times but only to block. England looks like a man amongst boys. ....... i found myself asking why is he not in the game. Ryle chism is fast, why not run england wesr down the defense and then let chism the speedster have some runs? Once sk stopped the play that got England the ball i noticed he wasn't in much. Is this normal ryle fans?

I noticed the same, quick, crisp and tight. With his arm strength I think they should try to vertically stretch the defense more often?
