That is correct. We were supposed to do that game. 2nd year in a row snow cancelled it.

Owen-SK also has been at risk because the game is scheduled right after the All-A and Owen has been close to game limits. I hope they get it in this year.

 

And, to the question about Dunaway not being listed as an Owen Co player, I believe most of those articles are written and sent in to TCP sometime during the summer.

I agree with you that Shelby is not 3rd best team in region without Gordon. Manika is an excellent player though. South Oldham should be much improved. They 5 seniors returning and 9 of their top 10 from last year. Region 8 should be one of the more wide open regions and exciting to watch week to week. Plus there are a lot of outstanding coaches. Can't wait to get it going!

Not knowing all the players in the top 10, the 8th must be loaded because I thought for sure JC Hawkins from Simon Kenton would make the list.

Strange ain't it? That's why I enjoy seeing what Cats Pause has to offer. Plenty of discussion at the very least.

 

And I am more convinced that Owen County is the favorite and I hope to see them this year. I think they were missing Toftness and I know Dunaway wasn't playing when I saw them in June at Mercer County.

 

I caught a couple of the owen county games and he is good but in order to be top 10 he has to improve defensively. I saw him get beat on multiple occasions. Great shooter for sure!
