Do you know if Brossart's setter Linsady Lieck is going to play the next level in college? Probably the best setter I've ever seen.

Huge shout-out to Bracken County volleyball coach Wade Smith. Wade was the first friend I ever had, and we quickly became best friends as youngsters. We cried together in Kindergarten because we were homesick (:lol2:), grew up playing sports together, were in band together, graduated together, were groomsmen for each other at our weddings, and have shared both exciting and heartbreaking moments together in our 38 years.

 

I am so proud of him for all that he's done with the volleyball program at our Alma mater. Congrats Coach Smith & team! :thumb:

I've seen Brossart's setter play this year and was impressed. She has very good hands and upper body strength. She is quick, gets her feet in position consistently and has a nice jump set when the pass allows. Her size may keep her from playing at the highest level but she certainly has the skills to advance if she so chooses. I'm curious to hear what her options are.

I agree. I think she is a high quality player who has a chance of making it to the next level. She is the best setter I've seen play for Brossart. Also made All "A" State Tournament this year, as well as regional tournament every year.

Sets are smooth and look almost effortless, really fun to watch.

No Cinderella for Rick Grimes this year.

Yes they did. But please forgive me if any of the info is not correct. Trying to read my chicken scratch this late is not easy.

First a big shout out to the guys and gals from Harrison County for doing a great job as this year's Regional Tournament Host. I know from past experience it can be a difficult task to do it well but you guys knocked it out of the park!

 

Congrats to all the teams on a great tournament and an excellent season of 10th Region Volleyball.
