Bengals 34 Bills 21

Bengals have yet to play a team with a winning record.

Either has Green Bay, Carolina, or Denver. If New England wins tonight, they have beat one team with a winning record (Pit). Pit has beat one team with a winning record (Ariz today). Bengals in the same boat as the rest of these teams.

When Indy loses tonight, there are only 11 teams that have winning records. Of those 11 teams, only 3 teams have won a game against a team with a winning record. And they only have 1 win each: New England, Pittsburgh and Atlanta.

Andy Dalton is having a special season. It isn't just the way he is throwing the ball. He is doing great things running the offense. One of my favorite plays today was when he changed the play at the line and Gio ran the ball in almost untouched for a score. Great job by Dalton making that check and change.

I was thinking the same thing. I may have to send him an ice pack to ice his shoulder down. It must be sore from the times he's patted himself on the back haha.

Considering how much flack you and others gave him he's earned the right. I'd say you guys need to own how wrong you were.

Bills were 3-2 coming into today's game.

That deep pass to Marvin Jones looked totally overthrown at first but dang, what a catch.

I wasn't wrong on anything I said about the Bengals. I just don't pat myself on the back every week.

Why do you post this "I told you so every dad blasted week" or it seems like that. I'd like to hear your thoughts not your patting yourself on the back.

Its simple when I am wrong people never have had a problem bringing that back up. So not sure why it is a problem when I bring it back up when I am right. The Wr issue was a big topic last season and this off season. I maintained they had a true #2 Wr and had one of the most talented groups to throw to in the NFL when healthy. Most disagreed with me, and I can guarntee if they hadn't done well, that people would have brought that back up to me. So people have no problem bringing it up when I am wrong, but apparently people do have a problem when I bring it up? It works both ways. That is why this is a discussion board. The Bengals are a big topic that I debate a lot of people about, and luckily a lot of times we do get to see how it plays out. So when there are big discussions about something why shouldn't it be brought back up one way or another. If I am wrong it should be brought back up and same if I am right.

Just like I expect it to be brought back up if Dalton proves me wrong, because I was completely down on him all of season. Which I hope he does prove me wrong, because he has been awesome so far!

Well thank you NKU, however that is how it rolls around here. It has been like that since the 2011 season around here. I apparently only see them through orange shaded glasses, and everyone else always seemed to see them realistically even though they were usually more wrong on them than me. Which I admit I have been wrong on a few things too with them, which people have no problem dishing it out when I am wrong, but seemed so surprised when I also bring it back up when I am proven right.

Now for my thoughts on the game. It was another great game and Dalton once again played great. The Bengals have so many weapons on offense, and Dalton has done a great job finding that open guy and not forcing throws to Green this year. The defense has done what they have done all year and that is give up some yards but not give up much points and that is what matters most. The Bengals are 11th in the league in points per game given up. Which they are barely away from being in the top 10. Now they will be adding their best defensive player and captain back soon. So that hopefully should make them even better.

Now get the guys who are a little dinged up healthy and lets go get Pittsburgh!

I'm not trying to rain on the Bengals parade because every team that has a stellar record catches some breaks but it has been good fortune that Seattle had key players missing with injuries and so did Buffalo. But to the Bengals credit they did not let down. And Denver may lead the NFL in good fortune (maybe Peyton sold his soul or something) so its not like the Bengals are the only team catching a break.

Who else was missing from the Seahawks besides Lynch? Hard to say that missing Lynch hurt them, Rawls went off.

I feel like this offensive is extremely impressive. You never know exactly where it's going to come from. To look that good on offense without AJ Green really doing much, very nice!

As I said, the Bills defense is incredibly overrated. They've played 3 good teams (offenses) this season. They've given up 40, 26, and 34 against them. They're paper tigers who everyone thinks is a great unit simply because Rex Ryan is the coach.

Another good effort from the offense, Dalton looked really good again, and nice to see Hill show some signs of life.

I think they have top defensive talent on that team. However he should have kept them as a four front team. They still might eventually learn his system and play to their talent level on defense but you are right as of now they are not a great defense.
