October 1, 201511 yr Obama really left the Assad opposition hung out to dry. If you tell folks were there for you, then you stick to your word. He knew after meeting with Putin what was coming. You either allow dictators to rule the middle east or you break it up creating states based on religion. (Sunni, Shia, Kurd ect ect)

October 9, 201511 yr Did anyone else notice that the air strikes and "intensified presence" started about a day and a half after Putin aired on a rather in depth 60 minutes interview?
October 9, 201511 yr Did anyone else notice that the air strikes and "intensified presence" started about a day and a half after Putin aired on a rather in depth 60 minutes interview? Yes. He is playing his games, the "accidental" violation of Turkish airspace is Putin seeing what he can do, how strong will NATO stand "together"? The one hope is that there will be that Russian lives lost in Syria will start to mount up causing him trouble at home.
