You need to quit living in the past Boyle and Lex cath are two totally different teams this season IMO Boyle is a lot better and Lex Cath is not as good but that's just my opinion and on a side note you shouldn't let my opinion bother you so much.

lexcath is the Jim Tressel Ohio State of Kentucky Football they win a lot of games but falter more often than not when it matters most.

Hey Pur ple I clearly said what's his record against Perry? I said that because they both have been head coaches at this point the same amount of time. How can we say give Smith time but not the same for Mark.

 

0-2. I don't think I have said to give Smith time but if I have then my reasoning behind that would be that Perry inherited a better team than Smith. I watched the end of the LexCath game against Ryle and that is all I have seen of LexCath this year. As for Boyle they are leaps and bounds better than what they were last season. For starters they are way more disciplined at this point this season than where they were last season. I thought last year's team was sloppy and had a case of the dropsies all season long. This year they are way better defensively and are also much better at defending the pass. This team is getting better every week and that is what I think anyone would want to see from their teams at this point in the season heading into district play. This team looks like a Chuck Smith team we are used to seeing. Tip of the cap and a bow to any team that can defeat them this season.

OK out of the 6 times catholic has played in the semifinals they have only won twice. If everyone's goal is to make the state finals and win they have faltered 4 times to reach that goal. Boyle has made the semifinals 8 times going 100%. With that said it seems catholic has faltered more times than not. 66% of the time they don't make there goal.

Actually Boyle faltered in the AA semi-finals in '96, losing to eventual State Champ Breathitt (12-7).

Again that's great stats, but again reading all the posted thread, sounds like head to head match up.... especially the last couple of season and who has won district and regional. I mean that what I am reading.
