First Congrats to the JV Spartans.

 

From what I understand, the JV team is supposed to be for kids trying to get better to make the varsity squad. BG has 23 kids on their 2-deep depth charts who are Jr/SO/FR and did not play in last nights game because they will travel to CHardin for the varsity game on Friday as they are on the varsity squad. BGs goal is not to win the JV Cup; it's to win at WKU in December.

I fully understand what JV is for and varsity is for and I am sure the coaching staff does to all I was hoping for is your logic behind you better get us now statements when you have nothing to back it up for what it is worth I think BG is the bench mark of this region and we have 10-15 under classmen that didn't play also

As of now South Warren isn't on BG's schedule so the statement "you better beat us now" is meant for everyone else not scared to play BG.

What is it that BG faithful keep saying you better get us now because .i don't really know if that's true .

 

How could you know? All we see is these watered down results posted to boost the Spartans reputation. We've all told you guys that this is a very young Purples team. We are confident that you will see this team mature and be a force to reckon with!

Does South Warren Platoon? BG platoons. BG plays a ton of kids on every level.

They don't want none for real. If they did they'd schedule a varsity game regardless of the terms. They have something to prove by playing and beating BG. BG doesn't gain anything by playing and beating South Warren. The burden of proof is on South Warren. You want to be seen as better than BG? Call BG, agree to their terms and go to 1801 Rockingham Lane and prove it.

 

Needs to happen. Can't claim the top spot until then.

Agreed.

SW numbers are at the 5A level now and both teams could be forced to play each other sooner than later. I would welcome that game, as it would be great for the community.
