7 on7 tussle? Man FCHS must have tussled with everyone this summer.

Flyers TUSSLE with everyone...lol...funny thing is flyers are winning, not by the blowouts the ALUMNI are predicting , but a win ...This part of the schedule will see if the Flyers can fight in the trenches as well as on the field during 7 on 7. one thing to remember Shelby beat a very good GARRARD CO. ..Good luck to both teams

Oline, welcome back, hadn't heard much from you, since Frankfort about beat you fella's! And our finesse team pulled off the win Friday.

 

Our boys did tussle a lot during 7 on 7, but we weren't exactly unprovoked. But for me personally I just wish they would hush and play the next play. I hope the coaches have preached to keep their mouth shut this week due to all the trash talk that has went on since that 7 on 7 incident. Hopefully we can hold our own in the trenches this week if not SC will win this game as they like to run it up the gut I am told.

Who won that 7 on 7 game? I know it doesnt have alot of stock, but no one is mentioning the passing game for Shelby. It can sneak up on you. If Shelby wins, they will have no T/O's and their defense stopped the run. If Franklin wins they have scored on big plays, and they stopped the run. Should be a great game.

I think an underlying factor will be QB play for the Flyers, can Shelby get pressure with their front 4?

Flyers don't stack the box there defense is far from stacking the box. Now figuring out what they are doing in the box is a challenge they have guys all over the place at times.

Game was stopped in the first ten minutes, Shelby was up, and in dominate fashion. Tell us about the passing game I have not seen Shelby play, only going on what I have heard from Kids.

Not really alot to tell about it other than QB makes good decisions, it is defintely set up by their run, YAC is big for them especially in the flats

If Shelby is throwing the football a lot then they are losing. So lets not talk about passing games. Talk about what they do best and that is VEER football.

If Shelby is throwing they are not in a good shape IMO, run the ball, Finesse teams struggle with that.

Not that it matters but at the Bullitt East game they had all 11 in the box most of the second half. And the 3 TD that were called back I believe 2 of those were on Punt returns. Shelby has a solid team with a ton of team speed. Dont know much about FC. Hard to say that Shelby worked on the passing game too much when the QB only had 13 attempts on the game. East played a great 1st half but limited half time adjustments seem to be the down fall of the young Chargers.

The fact you used the words "they worked on the passing game" tells me they don't have much of one.

 

Dint tell me about 7 on 7 - Everyone has a passing game in the summer.
