The reason these rules are put into place is because of the players/coaches/fans on the other team reacting.

I've never been one to understand why people get so burned by these types of activities that have no effect on the other team. If you don't want your opponent proving he is better than you, don't let him break off a TD run, or get a sack. If I had 11 guys whose mentality was "the other team can't stop me" I'd be happy. If they can't show their emotion in an emotional game, then what are they supposed to do when they make a big play? Oh let me guess "act like they've done it before"?

I was surprised to read that one. I don't think I've ever attended a game where I didn't at least see a coach from some team or another signaling for an official to throw a flag.

I'm pretty sure stringer held onto the ball during his "LeBron" high step, so definitely 3. Not sure about 1. I have seen it happen a descent amount either before the end zone or while running around in the end zone and no flags. If 2 and 4 or anywhere near the player, then no question it is a penalty. 2 and 4 in high school (since they are so strict about it) border on a penalty anyway even if you run away from everything to do it, but overtop or next to the player is an instant penalty (or at least should be since we all know cov cath didn't get called for it on Friday.)

I think kids should be allowed to celebrate. If they want to pump up the crowd after they just scored or did something let them. This isn't the good ole days emotion should be shown. Look what you see on TV, these kids play the game to be like those guys.

There is nothing unsportsmanlike about it. Is a kid in basketball who makes a layup and gets fouled, then signals the and 1 signal unsportsmanlike?
