September 16, 201511 yr Precedent? How many times have we seen on-field incidents that would be an assault on the street result in impunity? There was a hockey moment one time that I think criminal charges were filed. Can't recall when and where but I thought assault was levied on the perp.
September 16, 201511 yr It didn't look to me like he did it on purpose. If your sarcasm mode is on, my apologies. However if not, I disagree. He yanks the helmet off by the facemask and then seems to half swing it and then let it go right as it connects with the lineman's head. It was intentional IMO and luckily not worse than it was.
