Yes I'm positive, rankings are opinions, we all got one. We WILL NOT play a 2-A school that will be better than McCraken co. Plus, as any educated fan knows, different match ups give different problems. EX- Paducah beats McCraken by 14 and we destroy Paducah, so we should be McCracken co right? McCraken co IS NOT a power house 6-A team, but they are a fit for us to match up against. If we are lucky enough to get to the semi- final game, and desales is as well, you may beat us, but you won't be better than McCraken Co. So, just take care of your business, and get here, and may the best team win.

Don't worry, the Cardinal fans landed softly in their safety net. I would've maintain a whole lot more respect if the whole "widdle ol 2A" stuff didn't come up. Everyone in McCracken County understands the pecking order of West Ky football and definitely understands the advantages and disadvantages of the school sizes. Seems it has become chest thumping (for some, not all) when Mayfield wins and "we are just 1A, 2A (now)" when they lose. Please Mayfield fans, maintain your senses because a large majority of us pull for you guys year in and year out.

I would certainly give desales the nod in a matchup with McCracken simply off what I have seen against high levels of competition this year. With that being said mayfield will continue to be mayfield and I fully expect a matchup in November. It will be a dog fight till the end and cannot wait.

On comparisons - Ballard yes, they have an athletic style. Butler, no comment, don't know enough about them. Meade Co not close, they play a totally different style. Either way we would storm the field if we manage to beat you guys as well! :thumb:
