Congrats to Barry Bonds

He's a cheater worthy of no praise.

The Steroid Slugger Slams 715. Great news....for pharmaceutical companies and crooked trainers across the land.

Barry hit his 715 off of the Rockies today!

  Sad day in American sports. I am glad I missed it. Changed my avatar for the time being to honor the real #2 man in hr's.

With or without steroids, it's still a great accomplishment. Congrats Barry.

Like him or not h is still without a doubt one of the best hitters of all time and the best hitter of the last 50 years.

You are probably right but imo it is all for not bc of the choice of the "roids" that he imo has obviously made. If he goes in the hall, his plaque better be in the shape of an *(asterick)

Yeah it's a real shame he sacrificed his credibility with performance enhancing drug use. Baseball would have embraced him with open arms without the cheating IMO. He had awesome potential when he started, he always seem to see the ball real well and had his special swing.

The guy was a good hitter with and without steroids. He is also a total jerk, both on and off steroids. Bonds would have had a few more fans had he not resorted to cheating, but he still would not have enjoyed the popularity of Mays, Aaron, Ruth, Frank Robinson, or even Pete Rose.

Most people do not enjoy rooting for jerks, and Bond has few equals in the jerkiness department.

I might be wrong but I really don't think anything is going to happen to him. Baseball seems to harder on gambling than they are on drugs.

I agree , nWo. Bonds's assault on Aaron's record is the predictable product of the policies that Bud Selig and the owners adopted years ago. Baseball screwed up royally when the owners agreed to name Selig the permanent commissioner instead of hiring an independent.
