Harry Doyle
1170 yards worth of total offense between both teams. WKU 590 Yards Total Offense Daughty 28-38 441 and 1 TD- 0 INT's WKU rushes for 149. If Allen doesn't go out the first series of the 2nd half, they probably go for more (had 80+ at the half on 12 carries). Last year, this game went 59-10 LA Tech. Huge win for the Hilltoppers. PurplePride92
Scott Van Pelt started the WKU highlights by saying WKU is 1-0 in the SEC. :lol2: :lol2:
Jim Schue
I'm 2-0 picking WKU so far. Go Tops!

75center
Had to leave when it was 30-24, I knew I was going to miss a lot of action. Go Hilltoppers!
75center
Just read the update thread. Allen is a huge loss going forward, he is a weapon.
tcjkbt
WKU wins another nail biter.........at least 4 in a row. Either Coach Brohm is charmed or he is a good late game coach.....maybe both. I really like the way WKU uses the tight end.

Either Coach Brohm is charmed or he is a good late game coach.....maybe both. I really like the way WKU uses the tight end. No doubt. A good amount of times, it's tight endS, too. I thought one of the biggest differences last night compared to the Vandy game was their run game. They made it a point to run the ball last night. Before Allen got hurt, he was ripping off 6-7 yards a clip on his 12 carries in the first half. When he went down, I thought they might be dead in the water with their run game...but, they weren't. I don't think they have anybody who can solely replace him, but maybe by committee they can. Ace Wales (who had a big game in their bowl win over Central Michigan) has been out with a pulled hamstring.
tcjkbt
I know of two former WKU tight ends on NFL rosters---Jack Doyle and Mitchell Henry.

PurplePride92
Last year for Brohm in BG? It's possible. He has to be on someone's radar. Maybe he'll be on South Carolina's radar after they lose to UK tomorrow. Okay, that was a mean joke. I should have said if South Carolina loses to UK tomorrow. LongTimeReader
Last year for Brohm in BG? I started thinking this last year, but we'll see what schools come calling and how much he likes living in BG.
PurplePride92
I started thinking this last year, but we'll see what schools come calling and how much he likes living in BG. Along with how much money WKU has to convince him that BG is a great place to live.
