What phase is your biggest concern Skilld-Kid?

I do not think its really one phase as much as it is just the team putting together a whole game, First game I thought they struggled on specials, vs. Hills I thought both specials and Offense struggled and the overall team was undisciplined. Vs. Woodford they looked awesome in the first half all the way around...Then the second day, defense looked to be in a mess. So to me who knows what they will get on any given night.

Franklin County scored at will against Woodford County. As for the second day not being as good as the first. FC took care of business and left the field with a solid win and were never in doubt of easily winning the game. 3 lighting delays and having to come back the next day to finish the game. Try keeping your focus and motivation when your leading 28-7 and you have to come back and basically play another game in 120 degree heat on the turf. Good effort and focus to put the game in the WIN column!

Franklin co. by alot... Yes, it is a rivalry game but this Frankfort team is lacking leadership and discipline right now... Its hard to watch but I will be there to support.

AKA Talent of past years.

FHS is also missing talent in the coaching ranks everyone who has called a play over the last several years has left.

You can run Toss 18/19 all day if you have the horses... Believe me, I've done it. :lol2:

Not and beat anyone outside 1a or 2a.

Last I checked, Frankfort plays 1A... While beating FC is nice for bragging rights, it's completely irrelevant to the overall success of the season.

Did my post say anything about FC? FHS biggest successes have been when they had a balanced attack... Wins over Danville, Beech wood, in recent memory have came from a well rounded attack. Now against Bracken run that 18 and 19 tell the cows come home.

I know plenty of 1A and 2A teams that dare you to try.

The point of my post was that Frankfort's issues this year are focused more around the lack of depth/talent rather than who is calling the plays on the sideline. While losing those coaches certainly doesn't help, that in itself won't cause a downward slide if you have the horses on the field.

Gotcha, I am not sure if FHS will ever have a run of horses like they have had, the 8th grade team doesn't exist only has a handful of kids who play down, and the 7th grade has not won a game. After this year FHS will lose its best players in Smith, Robinson, Frank. Its going to take a while. I Hope the get the thing going soon the town of Frankfort has better football all around when all three teams are playing well. My Wolverines are up this year, FC is up, and FHS is down.

Horses run in the derby but still need trainers. Having someone to teach you the right techniques is very important. Take Woodford for instance, they have 3 D-1 lineman and have only won 1 game they have the horses but couldn't contend. Coaching and relationships with these kids these days are very important, without them kids will not play to their full potential.

Though Jalen Washington was talented he can no longer suit up for the Panthers, but that still has nothing to do with this team. When you have 24 kids and your talented Senior QB/leader goes down, its tough on the teams moral. The Discipline side of things its tough on Coaches to do when this younger generation has this thing of self entitlement that they don't have to work for anything and it should be giving to them coming in. with all that being said I just hope for a good hard fought game by both teams. Good luck to my guys on both teams.
