What were the coaches doin? Fly guy. I'm intrigued

Just a lot of extra curricular stuff, to each its own. Woodford is a good football team I think they will get better as year goes on. Effort wise I thought the team was improved from what I seen the last few years.

Come on flyguy tell us about the coaches. Have heard this several times but no one will speak up. Let it out. What are they doing before games to get called out then no one wants to speak about what they are talking about. Why bring it up if there is nothing to say?

Yard line. Behavior was the same at 7 on 7 this year I was told. Then after the game it was more mouthing from the coaches. It's just a huge production that has nothing to do with football.

I have heard these things also. One woodford parent and I don't know his name. But he is real loud mouth. Screams at the kids an opposing players. He's a real black eye on Woodford co fan base. Because he's at every game.

I think there are plenty of coaches who could make 3 D1 lineman work to their advantage. If an OC is a genius at a spread, and can't adapt to the strength of his offense you have problems. Also it's not like Franklin Co has been a defensive juggernaut over the years, so scoring 30+ on them and losing is common nature

I was being general in the sense, don't actually consider Woodfords OC to be a genius. Meant any OC worth their salt, should have a scheme to use the D1 Lineman to their advantage.

I have to say, unless you are playing some powerhouse national schedule, having 3 D-1 O lineman on your team at one time (if this is actually the case) in high school football in KY should equal a handful of wins in and of itself. Most schools would be lucky to have one lineman go play small college somewhere, much less 3 D-1 prospects at the SAME TIME. Scratching my head over this one.:idunno:

He came from the middle school that feeds FCHS I have watched him over the years while my child came up playing for him. I don't think anyone pulled his resume I don't think he has much HS experience and Fridays are a different beast!

You sound like you got a personal axe to grind with the OC. Personally I think he is least of the issues that would concern me as a Woodford fan.

The OC has very little to no high school coaching experience from what I have been told.

It's been stated OVER & OVER! None of the coaching staff has ANY head coachi HS experience. It will take some time for these young men to come together. Saturday Woodford looked like a totally different team then they did Friday night.

Stoop, I have heard the same thing. Who all is on this coaching staff? And what is their experience?

Dennis & Derrick Johnson, Tim Rose, Ashton Bailey, Jermaine Rhodes, Pete Barnhardt, Craig Smith. All but Rose / Barnhardt have some HS coaching experience but none in the head spot. I don't think Woodford has the student base that the local schools have. The school admin doesn't support them much from what I've seen.

No they didn't they gave up just as many points and changed up their offense after each delay. FC was going through the motions and still dominated their defense and special teams. Defense gave up some points but two of the Tds were on freshman cornerbacks. And the backups. Let's not get carried away.
