I don't get what is so hard to comprehend about the differences in Blume/Beach. You take Beach every day of the week and twice on Sunday. He's a Division 1 RB recruit and Blume, while a good high school back, will probably not see the field at an NAIA school.

Come on C-d-S....They were both good "High School" running backs...Of course I would lean towards Beach because of his size, but we should never over look what Mr. Blume accomplished as a High School runner.

As far as the other EKY mentions you must also include Ashland's Juan Thomas and Chris Hutt in the equation of the the top 5.....That is if we are going to include others....JMO;)

There you go ONE :thumb: :thumb:

I've just been sitting here watching the young pups talk about "history?":p  :D and not wanting to post those and make myself look/feel so old  :creepy:

Jason Nichols was pretty good as well - Ironton could substantiate that opinion I bet:ylsuper:

Woody Jr

Yes sir I'd take Jason Nichols in a second too......Well with Jack Smith of course....What kind of year would Ashland have had with them both in 1997????

I guess the point is that there have been many talented backs here in EKY and everyone will have their favorite....Looking back I think we'er spoiled....There have been several running backs here in EKY that you WOULD want on your team.....

Don't use the word "Old" Woody, I prefer to say that we are "seasoned" and "experienced".:thumb: :thumb:

Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner

Gotta go with Arliss.

Do you mean just in recent years or all time?

I was going back only as far as Beach. ;)
