3-0 shut out!

I really wouldn't call that a win, Conner is having a down year.

Who do you play next week?

St. Rita?

Domination. Is it fair to say that the Pioneers are the best of NKY? I'd say so, even if Conner is having a down year.

Imagine the idiot(s) from Conner that decided it was a good idea to play up into 6A.

In the end this came down to the LOS. SK has nice skill players. Conner has nice skill players.

SK's line was fresh and strong and effective. Conner's linemen were spent early. Humid and getting pounded on with no rest on the sidelines PLUS SK getting to the line quick and getting the next play off.

I applaud the Conner linemen. Tough spot to be in with no break.

SK is strong. Ryle game has the chance to be a barnburner.

Bring them on SK will smash Ryle to!

Looking forward to it.

One man's unbiased take on SK:

#1 team right now in NKY. SK has built one of the best overall programs in NKY. Stability in coaching. Nice feeder system. Great facilities. Great support. Nice depth i.e. they can platoon.

It's going to be difficult for a NKY to take them down. Ryle's offense is good enough to POTENTIALLY do that. I have not watched Cooper so I can't speak to them.

With that said IMO they cannot beat the top tier 6A teams. Not enough speed. Solid skill players but not gamebreakers against top defenses. QB play is solid. Nice passer. Not a great passer. Good runner. Not a great runner. Powell is really good and knows how to run. I'm not sure how many great looks he would get against a Trinity-type team.

If Louisville was removed from KY SK would be title contender.

I'm not sure if they are better this year than last year.

Again, no agenda. No desire to "get" UK#1 fan.

Bring them on SK will smash Ryle to!

To what?

So it wasn't just me that knew that SK was not going to kick the XP on the 2nd TD, right?

Left-footed kicker yet the holder was holding as if it was a righty kicker?

Might want to work on that one.

When has Conner had a good year?

No clue how many yards Powell had. He got 53 on the first carry.

I'd be shocked if he played in the 2nd half.

Speedy recovery to Conner's Matt Simpson. He was injured on a great diving catch along th e Conner sideline. He'll be out for a while.
