Final.

The final was 37-14... not 33-14.. could a moderator edit plz?

Think we will be jus fine this year. Our O line is still a work in progress but they will only get better as the season goes on. Overall I thought we played a pretty good game tonight.

This game was really not as close as it looks. We should have beat them 51-0

Mayfield...as expected.. is legit

Paducah Tilghman.... until they can prove they can compete along the Offensive and Defensive Line I don't think they are considered a serious threat for a 3A Title.

PT is a good, not great, team. I think they're a couple of steps behind the better 3a teams, but, still solidly in the Top 10, probably in the 7-8 range. I don't see them being able to contend with Boyle, Lex Cath, Belfry, Central, but, they could beat any of the other 3a teams on any given day. Other than 2 fumbles deep in their own territory that set up both of PTs scores, Mayfield pretty much dominated and had their way.

I wish Mayfield would posts stats. Arnett has to be hitting on about 85% of his passes this year.

Agree 100% I think they are locked in firmly in that 5 range... although Caldwell County has proven they are better than many expected and very close to PT if not a little better

Cards held on the first possession then took their opening drive in for a TD. PT took a 14-7 lead after getting the Cards to fumble the PT punt on the next series and then getting a Cardinal fumble on the following kickoff. I think one drive for PT started at the Cards 7 and the other at the Cards 12. From that point on it was all Mayfield. This one was not nearly as close as the score.

Wow, you guys out score them 30-0 after falling behind 14-7 to a fine Paducah Tilghman (arch rivals at that). Very nice, sign of a great team.

Sorry, before getting on this site, I knew NOTHING about football in the western part of the state (other than when we traveled to Murray for the semi-finals in 2013). Now I know, well, pretty much still nothing. What class is PT, and are they considered a contender in that class this year?

Mayfield is something else. One would think they would have a recycle year but it just doesn't happen. Another good win for a great program.

I agree, approximately 375 total yds for Mayfield to 150 for PT. Summary, 3 to 3 on turnovers but Mayfield's seemed to be more costly. Two of them directly led to PT's only scores after recovering inside the Mayfield 10 and 15 yard lines. The other prevented a Mayfield TD after Bright fumbled at the 4 or 5 on what looked to be a sure TD drive. PT had a garbage time fumble late. Mayfield had two possessions destroyed by self inflicted penalties but PT seemed to really hurt themselves more with costly penalties throughout the game. Several extended Mayfield drives. PT really only had one good drive. Other potential drives were thwarted by flags, and can guess they had well over 100 yards in penalties.

3A

Top 5 or 7 team, not really a Bonafide contender but in that second tier of teams
