We ask them to critique the coaches, pick winner of games they have never seen and give their opinions on games, why not ask them about the press box?

First I'll assume the overwhelming majority haven't been in the press box, don't care who's in the press box or who's not in there. Let's hear the full story. I wasn't referring to Ashland, I was referring to ALL stadiums in general who have people in their press box who don't belong there during a game. Raceland isn't an exception. Read the statement I quoted and then you'll understand that's what I meant.

Well my apologies then C.A., but it's obvious that Ram has his old spoon out again since Raceland loss. His one post, and the absence of post from other loyal Rams fans in the thread make it painfully obvious they simply can't handle losses to Ashland. And I just don't get it. Taking nothing away from Raceland, but Ashland should win every year.

Our kids fought hard, but Ashland was the better team.

I agree...on most years Ashland should win given their talent and numbers.

I felt like there was a hidden agenda with this post. If it helps I saw Mike, Carol, Greg, Marsha, Peter, Jan, Bobby, Cindy,and Alice in the press box Friday.

Oh please, you think this about the game? I asked the question because it was brought up in another thread and went unanswered. I agreed with CA because he is correct, every school has too many people in their press box, Raceland included. I filmed for the team for years and just about every school we went to the film guys were hanging out windows and standing on each others feet to do their job because there were too many people in the press box. Some schools wouldn't even allow the film crews in the press box.

I still don't know whether we are talking about streaming a radio broadcast or streaming video. If its video, then who was using the tripod and was it for streaming video? If so, seems like the problem was solved.

It was video. Starting this season, WLCG is picking one game per week to video stream, apparently the Raceland/Ashland game was the game last week. In another thread, someone stated they couldn't stream it because they were not allowed to be in the press box to video/broadcast. WLCG then changed and made the Russell/Greenup County the game of the week and video streamed it.

So who was using the tripod, just curious, as I have no idea. Also, with it being a remotely mounted camera, I'm curious if the equipment that controls it was in the press box, taking up the space wlgc wanted.

 

Another question would be was their a communication breakdown or no communication at all? It seems that if wlgc needed enough space in the preasbox to stream the game that this should have been worked out well before hand.

 

If they were given an ok to bring their equipment in, then told there isn't enough room, I could see that being a problem, unless they never mentioned how much room they needed. On the other hand, if wlgc did not let Ashland know this was their "game of the week" well ahead of time, then that's their own fault
