Planned Parenthood Harvesting Brain of Alive Aborted Baby

Featured Replies

Get right on that when the same millions of innocent children are being killed by jaywalking. We also lose entirely too many to drugs, gang violence, abuse, neglect.

Now you're getting into why the abortion debate wears upon me. I would prefer there not be abortions. But it's way low on my priority scale because I recognize that, as a student of history, life has shown itself to be pretty cheap in this cold, cruel world. Couple that with the fact that the world is grossly overpopulated and growing by the day, and I guess I'm more concerned with the people who are already here than those who might theoretically be if abortion were outlawed. And I wonder what the world would be like if all those extra people were here, competing for already scarce resources.

I think we waste too much time on the abortion debate as a society when our energies could be better spent elsewhere. That's why the abortion debate wears me out — it derails us as a society from focusing on solving bigger problems.

We can go back and forth all day and night. I won't change your mind nor you mine.

Ms Sanger couldn't have said it any better. She too thought there were too many (of the wrong type of) people and thought abortion was a great way to control population growth among certain segments of the population.

I am against abortion and favor adoption reform and streamlining of the process. I agree with you Jim that too much emphasis is made of it, especially during election cycles. Roe V Wade has decided that it is lawful, but I think what most are upset about with this current PP scandal is that there seems to be no regard for the law or the babies as illegal later term abortions continue to take place. At some point in the pregnancy that becomes murder, not just a choice.

I will just point out a very chilling thought. And Jim I am not directing this at you altogether, but think about what is being said:

Millions of babies are being killed, yes I said killed every year and we have alot more pressing issues to deal with? We have PP harvesting organs of babies who in no way cannot even defend themselves and we have become so cold as a nation or people that we brush this aside and say lets talk about something more important? God help us as a people and a nation. Judgment will come soon for our nation.

Its like our society no longer values human life. Very sad time in our nations history . More (idiots) would rather talk global warming or minimum wage than the actual killing of babies .

There are plenty of us who care. Sadly, we are usually marginalized by those that would rather look the other way.

Word.

Its like our society no longer values human life. More (idiots) would rather talk global warming

If one cares about human life they best care about global warming as well. People (Idiots) should know this.

Hell of a leap in logic. A+B does not equal Z in this equation.

All I'm saying is this board is flooded with threads about PP and abortion, and every other politically-related thread seems to have someone interjecting abortion into it even when it doesn't remotely apply.

Call it weariness.

Pope Francis even said that some are too fixated on certain issues, and he mentioned abortion as well. It is its own topic, and I agree that it gets thrown into many threads that have nothing to do with abortion.

I find it interesting, that this broad is overwhelming republican, it's not even close, yet in the abortion poll about 47% do not think it should be illegal.

Pope Francis faulted the Roman Catholic church for focusing too much on gays, abortion and contraception, saying the church has become "obsessed" with those issues to the detriment of its larger mission to be "home for all,".

The church can share its views on homosexuality, abortion and other issues, but should not "interfere spiritually" with the lives of gays and lesbians, the pope added in the interview, which was published in La Civilta Cattolica, a Rome-based Jesuit journal.

“We have to find a new balance, otherwise even the moral edifice of the church is likely to fall like a house of cards, losing the freshness and fragrance of the Gospel," Francis said in the interview. --- Article was in the Huffington Post.

Now, the Pope is not saying that abortion is not important, he is saying that people, and the Church become obsessed with it. Such as with many threads on this site, the issue comes up with many other topics.

I don't know that he's saying it's not important, per se, just that there are other things that are bigger that need to be dealt with.

So I'm Margaret Sanger because I don't fixate on abortion and think it's the most important thing the world has to deal with right now. OK. And then you go saying that I feel like abortion is necessary for growth control of certain undesirable segments of the population. And you guys wonder why I'm weary of the abortion debate.

I agree with the "he didn't say it's not inportant", as I pointed it out. My view is he is kind of saying what you have been saying in when you mentioned about how non-abortion topics (threads) end up having abortion entering the topic and at times consuming the issue (thread).

I'd like to think that if other problems were fixed societally, the abortion issue would take care of itself.

I'm not going to go back and look for it just to quote Jumper Dad. But I agree with him on the adoption reform and streamline the process.

Why are so many people going overseas to adopt? Now, I'm not knocking anyone who adopts a child from another country, as I would eventually like to do the same. But many do it because they have either no choice, there is too much red tape, among other reasons.
