Prayers for a Brossart friend

Featured Replies

For those of you who have attended BBHS Basketball home games, Todd Schafer, who sings the National Anthem and has been the announcer for many years needs your prayers. Todd has had heart issues for some time, now has cancer and has recently had a stroke. Keep him in your prayers. If you are so inclined, he is currently at Richard Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. I have included the address if you care to send your wishes:

Richard Ross Heart Hospital

452 West 10th Avenue

Columbus, OH 43210

I'll be praying for Todd.

This is very sad. I can't tell you the number of officials that remember their trips to BBHS because of Todd and his infectious personality and his signing of the National Anthem. Prayers sent for Todd, his family and the entire BBHS community.

This news makes me so sad. I will continue to pray for comfort and peace for Todd during his final days on earth and rejoice in the fact that he will undoubtedly be lifted up into heaven. God bless you, Todd. He certainly has blessed me for knowing you.

Todd's lengthy battle with heart and kidney disease came to an end early Sunday morning at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit in Edgewood, Ky..

Todd was very much a part of the fabric of our Brossart High School community and will be missed.

Nice guy he was. I didn't know him too well, but he seemed to enjoy life.
