Prayers to all involved. Extremely sad to hear.

Prayers for the family and school.

The loss of a child would shake me to the core. I pray the family can find the inner strength to deal with this tragedy. I hope everyone who knew this young man can reach the understanding within themselves that accidents happen to good people. I feel everyone will fare better if they avoid falling into the trap of playing the blame game.

 

I found a photo online of the piece of equipment involved and it appeared to be solid and heavy. It is obvious if one person lost their balance the whole piece would be out of control very quickly.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Hopkinsville High School.

 

Tampa Bay Bucs safety Keith Tandy was excused from the team this week as Jayvon Quarles was his nephew.
