...but it makes it the law that nobody is above (when it is the Supreme Court).

You are correct, but sooner or later when the majority of people get tired of things they dont like being shoved down their mouth then crap will hit the fan. Let me remind you this was the reason there is a USA.

Except Obama and his pen and telephone.

I am still hoping that a gun owner challenges the restrictive gun laws imposed by some states. Why is a concealed gun license issued in Texas not valid in NY but a marriage license issued in NY is valid nationwide?

Such as being told who you can and cannot marry, and what is right or wrong, and what religion is right or wrong?

You must have forgot my statement that mentioned the majority do not want it when it was put to a vote didnt you?

Are you saying that if the majority wants something then it is okay to shove things down others throats?

I am saying what everyone knows. A small group has changed the definition of marriage. I am saying that when put to a vote same sex marriage failed by a landslide. And it would again if put to a vote. I am saying Biblically its wrong. I am saying if the minority keeps pushing something on the majority then the majority will push back after a while.

Maybe in Kentucky, yes, but nationwide, I disagree.

How many states already had passed a law defining marriage in the traditional sense? If put to a majority vote nationwide the traditional definition of marriage would carry the day.

I'm still trying to get one of those things.:D

So would a lot of things over the years. Which, thankfully, aren't the law of the land any more.

That's interesting. Tell me how this will impact the Clerk in Rowan County? Does this mean she won't be issuing the license?

I dont know. If they can drag it out in court long enough she will be home free. From everything I have been told the majority do not want to do this.

I am sorry I am dense. I still do not understand what it means that a marriage license will be had online and how this will change the situation for the clerk in Rowan county.

Please explain how moving the marriage license on line will save the county clerk from the trouble she is in.

Probably wont change the trouble she is in now, but will help her going forward and may just save her job for the future.

Nationwide it would lose. Just like these clerks, many are not saying anything because they fear for their jobs, but given a choice they would choose not to issue them. I have talked to alot of them a overwhelming majority wish it would go to a online system because they do not agree with gay marriage.
