All In
Always ask before I head down there, going to Paisley on the 28th. How's the parking and exiting of concerts this year? Is it still best to turn right and hit 275 into Ky that way? Do you still need to get there 90 minutes before the show?
NEERFAN
I'd say turning right is still the best decision you can make.
ColonelCrazy
I've only had problems leaving if/when I'm trying to catch a cab (or take an Uber). That can be difficult. Other than that, you should be fine.
nkuclubbaseball19
Sat in the parking lot for 1.5 hours on Saturday trying to leave Tim McGraw. It was brutal.

Sandman
Never had to get there 90 minutes before a show, even the sold out ones. But, better safe than sorry I suppose. As others have said, leaving the place can be real hit-and-miss. I know people that actually leave before the encore to avoid potential problems. I have none of that. The deeper into the Coney parking lot you are though, the longer you wait. That 90 minutes early idea might lump you into the first to come, last to leave bunch. MJAlltheWay24
Haven't been and don't think I'll be at a concert down there this year. Bummed I couldn't go to Tim McGraw.
Jim Schue
Not gonna lie — I wouldn't be the least bit hurt if I never saw another show at Riverbend again. Everything about that place always gave me a bad vibe, and it always started with the jerkwad clowns patrolling the parking lots threatening to get the cops to come take everybody to jail if they're caught having any kind of fun tailgating. Drunk Johnny
You really want to try to park near the road. If you wait until the end of the concert and are way back in the right side parking lot (first lot off the exit) count on waiting at least an hour to get out. If you can park in the lot between the pool and casino you should be okay as well.
All In
Sat in the parking lot for 1.5 hours on Saturday trying to leave Tim McGraw. It was brutal. What happened? You never seem to have had trouble leaving in previous years from your posts. Where/what lot do I need to get into to have the best chance of getting out and heading to 275? I am not leaving another concert early. When I was done there year before last, turning left was a huge mistake, is that still the case?

When I was done there year before last, turning left was a huge mistake, is that still the case? You're correct. Never really had too many issues before and that was turning left even out of the lots. Saturday was just terrible for whatever reason. I think part of it was whoever was (or really wasn't) directing the traffic. I noticed that one of the lanes that looped around was moving pretty decently but the other lanes weren't moving at all. It didn't look like there was anyone at the intersection of the different exiting lanes to direct the traffic. See my beautifully drawn picture below for details. We parked around the red star (which typically has NEVER been an issue for me). Our line had to exit along the red line. The blue line is the one that was constantly moving (getting everyone that parked on that side of the grass lot out pretty easily. The yellow circle is where they should've had someone directing traffic but they didn't. So everyone that parked near us or in the paved lot by the lake was stuck. And there was no way for us to get over towards the blue line due to the number of cars.
TTS_JF
I think it was Luke Bryan or Motley Crue we saw earlier this year or last and as we were walking out traffic was basically stopped. The wife and I walked to the casino killed an hour or so and walked back to an almost empty lot.

I assumed all parking was in the lots(I think 3 and 4) on the other side of Coney. Is that lot by the lake filled for concerts or is that a top secret thing?
