Pardon me if this information has been posted before, but what is Male's out-of-district schedule?

Uh, Male did beat Trinity last year. Albeit it in the regular season, but they did beat them.

 

Male beat everyone on their schedule, minus the second game against Trinity.

The Ballard Bruins are the toughest non-district opponent for Male besides Trinity. The Bulldogs also have Fairdale, Floyd Central, Western, & Seneca on their schedule.

I voted for Male. No good reason, other than the other option was Trinity.

National Rankings from Dallas Jackson have Trinity at #79 . Male is ranked #94 .

If Male wants to be considered for the label of #1 , then they have to beat Trinity in the post season AND win the 6A title. Until this is accomplished, Male is just like everyone else, playing for second!!!!!

That or if the unexpected happens and this turns out to be a bad year for Trinity. If Trinity loses to Ensworth, that won't necessarily cost them the #1 spot due to how good Ensworth tends to be but if they also lose to Brentwood Academy and certainly Lafeyette, in the Louisville and Surrounding Area poll, Male will ranked number one assuming they are undefeated (which they probably will be that early in the season).

 

Saying that, my guess is Trinity will at worst be 1-1 against Ensworth and Brentwood and very possibly 2-0 and will probably hold on to number one either way if the loss is close.

Well, heck. The Bluegrass Preps, Sagarin, Litkenhous, AP, UPI, Amway, USA Today, etc., etc., folks are all wasting their time and ours. Who knew????? :idunno:
