The writers had their babysitter record it who took it to No.1. 1965 - Two female Beatles fans hired a helicopter to fly over the house The Beatles were renting in Beverly Hill, and jumped from the helicopter into the swimming pool. 1970 - Elton John made his US live debut when he kicked off a 17-date tour at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. In the audience that night were Don Henley, Quincy Jones and Leon Russell. 1976 - Boston released it's debut album, "Boston". It stayed on the Billboard Album chart for 11 years, and was the best selling debut album in the US until being surpassed by Guns N' Rose's "Appetite for Destruction" in the late 90's. 1979 - The Knack started a five week run at No.1 on the US singles chart with 'My Sharona', the group's only US chart topper. Lead singer Doug Fieger said he was inspired to write the tune by Sharrona Alperin, a 17 year old senior at Los Angeles' Fairfax High. August 26, 201511 yr "Born to Run" is easily a top five all time album for me. I'm not a huge fan of "She's the One" as it's a little repetitive for my taste... but the rest of it is near perfect. "Thunder Road", "Born to Run", "Backstreets", and "Jungleland" on the same album? It's not even fair. I got legit goosebumps the first time I heard Clarence's solo on "Jungleland".. Powerful moment for me.

I've only seen Bruce since Clarence passed, but when it gets to "... and the big man joined the band" the music temporarily stops and they show a short video of clips of Clarence. It's pretty powerful in the moment.
