I agree with bear3. When it comes to Bowling Green Qb's. Devon Hayes was the best QB in Purple history. The numbers back him up. I disagree about them being overrated. Jr. Qb Clark Payne and the Purples will be better this year, compared to last year's team. I've watched this kid for 4 years and he's gonna be a good one. Bowling Green has a wealth of young talent coming up that will be hard to beat for several years. The best I've seen in 35 years. If someone wants to beat them, they better hurry. I feel another win streak coming on. Don't bet against the Purples!

I agree adoptee. I'm a Purples guy. Coached in the old Purple League and Jr High. Don't get me wrong, the squad that left 2 years ago, that had the streak and 3 rings may never be topped, BUT these Frosh and the 8th grade, phenom are on paper, unreal. Their size and skill is remarkable. With coaching and maturing they will 9nly get better.

 

Noone is really talking about it but folks up North at Highlands are saying same thing about their young ones. These games would be great to watch. I'm sure it won't happen but I would love to see Highlands vs Purples in a week 0 game in Rafferty Bowl in a year or two.

My post was not directed at Purple88. It was more of a reply to the Bowling Green being overrated post. I failed to make that clear. My apologies.

The sideline of El Donaldson Stadium will not be the same without Mike "Bulldog" Drake. The team has dedicated the season to him. He lived lived and breathed Purples. He will be missed.

I am glad Mike will remain part of the program, he was the definition of a "Fan". I'm sure he will be missed greatly in Bowling Green.

Thank God for message boards. I am learning new things every time I read. Perhaps, I should visit more often and it would help give me a more optimistic view of life....or a distorted view of reality.

Would love to see graves county continue to build on last year's success..i look forward to seeing what this year has in store for them..hopefully they can find a way to punch their ticket back to the 5a championship game again..regardless, best of luck to all teams..go eagles!

According to Cols, Central Hardin would play the McCracken County District in the playoffs, so yes they play out west.

I think they rotate, I do know that Central hardin is out West this year for the playoffs,
