Police probing death in LA find 1,200 guns, 2 tons ammo

Holy crap. Would love to get my hands on this guys stash.

Police investigating the death of a Los Angeles man uncovered an arsenal inside his home and garage — more than 1,200 guns and about two tons of ammunition, authorities said Monday.

Los Angeles Police Department Cmdr. Andrew Smith called the number of rifles, pistols and shotguns staggering. Many had never been fired and some were still wrapped in boxes, with price tags still attached.

Yep.

He who dies with the most toys is dead.

No deader than the next guy with no guns.

Maybe the dude was a collector and this is being made into something else.

Police made the discovery after the man's decomposing body was found in a car down the street from his home in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood.

Curious to see if it was a natural death or something unusual. Maybe someone wanted his collection or a gun deal went bad.

Or maybe he believed in capitalism and was running a little mom and pop gun running business out of his home.

I guess he lived by the motto "Go Big or Go Home!!!"

Maybe he was just a hoarder, hoarding guns is a lot better than hoarding cats, trash or old newspapers.

So that's where all the 22 ammunition has been going!
