In addition to what happened to the Japanese, we have the terrible blight of McCarthyism in our pas as well. Is that how you envision America?

If you are a TSA agent and there is a warning that blonde women wearing high heels are trying to sneak bombs onto planes would you let some pass without scrutiny just so it wouldn't look like you were profiling High Heeled Blondes, or would you ensure the ones fitting that description weren't carrying bombs? No one I think is wanting to profile all of any one group, but if individuals meet certain criteria then absolutely they need some extra attention.

That seems like a huge number to me. (arguably worthy of profiling) Also I would bet the are more who support it but won't admit it. There always are. The persecution of non-Muslims in Muslim countries is well documented. A good friend of mine was station in Iraq during the most recent encounter.
