IMO, if that's the case, then I would be upset. Why even introduce Negan at this point if you're not going to go full with the event. Don't tease the fans, or give yourselves a way out until next season. Do it and live with the choice. I'm hoping that AMC has hidden their plans and the rumor isn't verified fully. Maybe AMC doesn't want it leaking, but again, a cop out if they don't show until next season.

Nobody knew who shot JR until the next season. That's what a season finale is supposed to do...keep you hanging until next season!

I don't think it will be Maggie. But I could see Maggie joining with the Hilltop gang for awhile. If she does not lose the baby then she will need to be under the care of that OB GYN at the Hilltop.

You kinda have to know the script... But some think it might be a bluff by writers since they know people find info out. I don't know if I have that much faith in the writers.

I think it's Glenn or Daryl. Abraham would be my 3rd guess if I had to give one, but I believe it'll be one of the males who has been around since Season 1. That's the only way you make Negan a truly hated villain.

True, but they saved Glenn too. And they perhaps might be saving Daryl after that bullet he received last week. So all 3 of my candidates have been very recently saved.

While I acknowledge the cliffhanger is a possibility, I can't see them leaving us with that. I'm pretty sure they start filming Season 7 in May. It won't take long to figure out who isn't on the set.
