Nick Ferraro from St. Henry will win this award easily. Maybe Kenneth Gilman. You never know

I think any of the 3 from Beechwood could win this, but I have a hunch that Brayden Combs wins this. Haven't seen a kid, in any sport, that works harder. Luckily all of the young kids up there get to see him come and go with his dad and a bucket of balls everyday. They know what it takes.

With NKy having little to no media coverage, it will be very hard for anyone from the area to win the award. The void of no news media coverage has hampered all of NKy teams and players statewide recognition for years.

I would agree with Coach that it will take a change in the current media makeup for a NKY kid to win this or any other state award. The KY Post did help when it was still around, but now that the Enquirer is the only paper for NKY they have no say in KY as far as voting.

Disagree. Said coverage would only be read by NKY folks. Plus the Enquirer does not get a vote so even if they covered every game it wouldn't matter.

Ricky Raisor Highlands Bluebirds

Josiah Robbins-Boyle County

He didn't even make the All State team last year. He is a good player but Mr. Baseball is a reach. Everyone that will be in major consideration for this award in the preseason will have already signed with a D1 school.

Cool beans. I'm throwing his name out there anyways. :D

Probably because he is a three sport athlete and doesn't do the showcases I would assume

Hard to count Cameron Planck (sp) from Rowan County out of this list. Arguably best pitcher in the state with a decent stick. Nice hair as well.
