When someone puts the TP so it rolls "under" vs "over". I'm definitely an "over" guy.

My man, we are on the same page. Or square, however you'd like to say it.

This is my current #1 pet peeve...and I want someone that does it to give me a valid reason besides plain laziness and selfishness.

 

I park close to the end of the parking lot to get extra steps in. There used to be corrals out yonder and I used them. After a recent re-model the corrals were all put in the first or second row of spaces. I asked the manager about it and was told it was so the employees didn't have to walk all the way out there to get carts. Haven't used once since. I do try to put my cart out of the way so as not to block a space. If they ever move a corral back out to the nether regions I'll start using it again.

I had a situation a few years ago where a lady left her cart, and it rolled 10 ish feet and smashed into the side of my car. The lady gave a me a "oops sorry my laziness just careened into the side of your car" look.

 

I was so angry.

Why not take it back into the store rather than leave it in a parking space?

There's almost always more than one cart corral at a store...

 

Correct and always full. Sams is a good example of that, hit it mid day on Saturday and good luck getting a cart into the coral, carts are hanging out halfway in the drive lanes.

Then do as TB&G said. You can always return the cart to the store.

How does that restrict you from taking the cart back?

Exactly. You also wouldn't be inconveniencing others by taking up parking spaces or wind moving that cart into someone's car. Again, NOT being selfish or lazy, but considerate.
