Twins @ Reds (6/29 - 7/1)

Featured Replies

No wonder that series against the Mets sucked, no one started a thread. We at least have to have a place to complain.

Twins are in town for three and they take us into July. Of course since the Reds are back, rain is in the forecast all week.

Taking my nephew tomorrow night. Hopefully the rain holds off.

After watching the games yesterday I feel confident in my next statement.

Suarez is by far the worst defensive SS I've ever seen. Dude will never play at the ML level if he doesn't figure it out.

He had a pretty bad 4 game stretch.

What made it so bad, I think all his errors were just routine outs. It wasn't like he made an incredible play getting to the ball, he just booted routine grounders.

He's looked horrible, it looks to be getting in his head and adding adittional pressure to every opportunity he gets. At his age I believe he will be fine, he's one of the ones that has a tendency to make the spectacular play and loose focus on the routine ones. He's got all the tools to become a very good fielder, he's also got the Venezuelan pedigree that has been a hot bed for great defensive shortstops in the past. Hopefully he gets his mind clear soon and stops making errors on the routine plays.

He's weak defensively but a decent stick. He'll need to move to 3rd or 2nd though, that much is already clear.

I don't know, if he can't field routine ground balls and he clearly hasn't shown he's capable of that, I don't think he's capable of playing any infield position.

I think he will be fine, just got a little case of the fielding yips.

Are we allowed to say Billy Hamilton is an elite base stealer now?

If Billy Hamilton could be an Average hitter he'd be the greatest base stealer of all time.
