June 24, 201511 yr What will the narrow-minded think about him? I won't speak for JD, but would assume he may be referencing the name/looks, when one's parents are from India.
June 24, 201511 yr Author Mr Jindal's challenge is that he isn't liked in his own state. 31% approval rating in Louisiana. I can't imagine he lasts very long.

June 25, 201511 yr Is anyone within the Republican party concerned that the number of candidates will pose any issue with the spreading out of votes? I mean, are there 2 or 3 viables, and all these extras may cause an unintended candidate to take the nomination?
June 25, 201511 yr Don't the candidates have to poll at a certain threshold to qualify to participate in the debates? That should thin the herd to some degree.
June 25, 201511 yr Mr Jindal's challenge is that he isn't liked in his own state. 31% approval rating in Louisiana. I can't imagine he lasts very long. He won the last two elections for Governor VERY easily, 54% and 66% (winning every Parish)...wonder what has caused the dramatic down turn or if it's is selective polling? Doing a little research it looks like candidates from BOTH parties looking to succeed him are attacking him...I'm sure that hasn't helped his polling much this year as a Lame Duck.

It may drag out the nomination process to weed out the additional candidates therefore making KY's primary vote matter for the first time in memory.
