June 20, 201511 yr I guess I'm showing my age but I can name the murders in the area from the late 50s. Edith Klump Murder and a Greenhills High School co-ed. Both occupied the front page of the Enquirer, Post, and Times Star for weeks. These events, if happened today would be relegated to a single or double paragraph buried somewhere in the context of the newspaper. 146 shootings in Cincinnati to date this year??????? What kind of world do we live in???? What is the answer???? Is this the new "way of life?" Obviously.

Just like in the Charleston shooting, if you knew of the plans and did not contact the authorities, you should be charged with accessory. Also, this may not have happened if he was bound over to adult court on an armed robbery charge when he was 17. But, he was in juvenile court and only had to serve 90 days, adult court he would have been facing 13 years.

Each department is going to be different as per their policies. There's simply not enough time for a swat mission, that takes planning and coordination which they didn't have time for. It's a hot call that officers try to respond to quickly. It sounded like Officer Kim just happened to be closest at the time officers were dispatched to the area. I just pray for Officer Kim's family.
June 20, 201511 yr The trouble I mentioned that happened outside the memorial service last night involved the father of the shooter. Yes, they have a right to be there as they are hurting too, but if was me I would have stayed away and have friends, family, and their pastors come to them, but that's just me.
