Went to go see it last night with a group of people and we all thought it was great.

Wife, daughter and I are going tonight. Introduced my daughter to the first and third one last week when they were all on TV back to back...skipped the second one, I didn't like it the first time.

Outside of this thread I havent read a good review of it yet, seems the critics dont like it much.

Weird, I've only seen good reviews.

 

Personally I really liked it. Very good blockbuster.

I walked out after it Thursday and told my brother - "that's going to be between 68 and 72 on rottentomatoes." Currently sitting at %71.

 

Story is narrow, characters are ehhh. But the effects, dinosaurs, and locations are exceptional. The perfect action blockbuster action-wise.

Very similar, but this isn't a remake it's just the next one.

1) Scientist build dinosaurs from DNA and other stuff

2) Somebody thinks it will be a great vacation attraction

3) Utmost security in place to keep everything secure and safe

4) Unforeseen Dino intelligence underestimated

5) Dino gets loose

6) Kids get lost

7) Go looking for kids

8) Dinosaur chases everyone and eats all non important characters

 

See it's almost a completely different movie!!!!

Going to approach $200 million this weekend, probably in the $190 range which would make it one of the biggest opening ever.
