This game would make more sense if it were for rising seniors, not graduated seniors. That way, the game would have the benefit of recruiting exposure. Promote it as camp like CoachJ .

What's the problem with it?? It gives many guys a chance to compete one last time. Players get to meet guys they've been competing with much of the football careers. If you're worried about getting hurt, or if you are one of the lucky one's who gets to play in college and your college coach doesn't want you to play, then don't play. There's plenty of other guys that would be willing to take that spot. All this talk about recruiting, and the fact of the matter is 94-95% of all high school football players don't play in college. And a good chunk of those that do, don't last through their freshman year. Making this a junior only game won't change those numbers. The format of the game is fine. Enjoy it for what it is. The guys that are playing sure will.

So you propose we do nothing for outgoing seniors?? I'd be willing to bet participation would go down if it were a junior game. Most juniors that are preparing to play in college are better off attending specific camps and would probably chose those camps that would give them better visibility over an all-star game.

Considering many of these guys are multi sport athletes or are still looking to sign onto a college somewhere I would hope they would be in pretty good shape.

Again, I've never heard of any players that got a chance to participate say they had a bad experience. I just think this game would mean more to and get better participation from seniors, rather than juniors.
