The game is what it is.......some years it is decent and everyone playing has a good time.........some years it is dreadful and everyone playing has a good time. BTW some years the Heat Index is the winner and by the 4th quarter the heat and humidity are clear victors.

No, no, no. CovCath always sends a bunch of kids. Bir through 6 ints 2 years ago in the game. Swanson from SK intercepted 2 of them.

That might have been the year they played the game at SK. Dale had at least 8 Highlands kids.

Don't want to bring up bad memories but anyone remember the year the Enquirer would not (or could not) cover or promote the All- Star game so the NKAC coaches picked one week during the next regular season and no coaches would talk to the Enquirer that week about their games.

When the week came the Enquirer covered games but had to get quotes from Moms in the stands since the Coaches and players would not talk. It was kind of strange and funny at the same time.

What's the problem with it?? It gives many guys a chance to compete one last time. Players get to meet guys they've been competing with much of the football careers. If you're worried about getting hurt, or if you are one of the lucky one's who gets to play in college and your college coach doesn't want you to play, then don't play. There's plenty of other guys that would be willing to take that spot. All this talk about recruiting, and the fact of the matter is 94-95% of all high school football players don't play in college. And a good chunk of those that do, don't last through their freshman year. Making this a junior only game won't change those numbers. The format of the game is fine. Enjoy it for what it is. The guys that are playing sure will.

Cooper is sending Prickett, Wise, Murray and Ramey. Ramey missed his entire senior season due to injury so I'm glad he gets to strap it on one more time.
