MLB Players You Would Pay To Watch

Recommended Posts

I'm not talking about players on your favorite team. I'm asking which individual players you would lay down money to watch.

Mine:

Bryce Harper 22 yrs old

Mike Trout 23

Giancarlo Stanton 25

Manny Machado 22

Miguel Cabrera

Andrew McCutcheon

There's so much young talent right now that I'd pay to watch almost any game if I had the time and ability to travel about freely. I love watching the future superstars burst onto the scene

No one would pay to watch Frazier play but I get to sit right by third base about 10 games a year and I love watching this guy. Talk about someone who knows it's over in a flash and gets it. He enjoys every second of it and just seems to understand what a privilege it is.

When I sit in those seats, it's worth every penny just to watch and listen to him.

Looks like you are attracted to the pitchers Mustang...

Yep. I'm not paying any money to see a hitter. They don't have a big enough impact on the game. With starting pitchers, you've got the ball the majority of the game, and I can really enjoy watching them at their craft.

I have a feeling I might want to add Joey Gallo to my list. He's a triple away from the cycle and it's his major league debut. 21 years old, hit 32 HR's in the minors 2 years ago and 42 last season. He should put up huge numbers in Arlington as a left handed hitter, he can hit the ball a long way.

It's crazy to think Gallo, Harper and Bryant were all on the same little league team. The MLB is loaded with young superstars right now.

That is where I am. Miguel Cabrera is interesting to me. As is Mike Trout. But unless they are some kind of transformational talent like a Barry Bonds, I want to see a dominating pitching performance.
