Gage Tucker lineman 2017. Got a personal invite to University of Louisville from head lineman coach and several other camps . Has also recieved a hand written letter invite and words of encouragement from the head coach of Lindsey Wilson. That is very cool , that in todays times that a coach will hand write a letter instead of email etc. Says a lot. He will attend Uk and UL camps and a visit to Lindsey Wilson as well as University of Jacksonville Florida in late June .

Any word on Highlands kids? Ryle? Cooper? CovCath?

Soph to be Braden Posey will be attending the Football University camp (FBU) in Indy in July. Only Highlands kid I heard info on.

Ryles England and SKs Powell are at the UC camp today. Giante Hicks and Cameron Racke from SK are at Toledos camp at Colerain today.

Smith will be attending Ohio University as well as Miami of Ohio this week.

Derek Burgett, K/P from Pulaski was at WKU and UK yesterday and today. Purdue, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Jacksonville State, Arkansas State and Morehead still to come.

Other Pulaski kids are hitting some camps as well. WKU yesterday for sure, others as well, I just don't know the details.

Ronald Rice did well at WKU camp. He will be attending Ohio U , UC and still has UTMartin/ Purdue and few others camps in July. He also holds a offer from Morehead and has been contacted by several D2 schools.

Attended the Toledo camp yesterday

...I didn't like their 1on 1 format. The kids didn't really get to compete against each other.

Just my opinion: I wouldn't attend the UK camp unless you are personally invited, and even then I wouldn't miss other camps just to attend it. My son attended it and it was very disorganized, they didn't have enough coaches to evaluate half the players that were there and the coaches didn't see a fourth of the players personally. about one fourth of the players didn't even get measured and recorded on times.

 

There were some very good players there, that didn't get seen at all. And, I'm not talking about my son, but players I saw that were very good that I knew from around the state that the UK coaches didn't even see.

 

Yes, it was cool to be there and see the size of the camp, but it was a big commercial from most players, they were more concerned with playing UK highlight videos and getting pictures then they were evaluating players.

 

Just my two cents.

 

We had the similar experience at the U.C. camp last year !! I think some of these bigger schools do it all for the money !! There are good camps out there !! We Loved Louisville's camp !!

How did he get his time? They didn't tell the kids, when one asked they told him no.
