White Sox at Orioles 4/29

Featured Replies

The game has been moved to 2:00 and closed to the public. Only media will be attending, presumably.

That would freak me out as a player.

Baltimore's home series against Tampa this weekend will be played in Tampa with Baltimore as the home team.

Might tie the minor league team that set the record for 0 paid attendance when they locked everyone out of the stadium and hosted a party across the street in a park.

So basically they'll be playing a week straight with no crowd

That would freak me out as a player.

You'd have to think it would be a little weird playing without all the typical noises. I'd imagine that you get so used to the crowd buzz, plus the random things over the speaker system which there's no need for in this one.

They won't have many more fans when they play in Tampa.

It's been odd watching the Orioles treated as the home team at The Trop, wearing their home unis while the Rays are in their roadies batting as the away team.

I caught some of the game last night, and again today. The place was over half full today. Too bad they don't have a retractable roof. It was absolutely gorgeous outside this afternoon. It has been all weekend, here.
